Back in the analog days, the closest thing we had to video on demand was getting our hands on a video cassette tape, either by buying it, borrowing it or renting it. You could also record your favorite movies and programs from TV broadcasts. The one depicted is a VHS cassette tape, the most widespread VCR system.
